About the Authors

William G. Ladewig, Esq. is an attorney who with more than three decades of legal experience. Through the practice of law, he has counseled and guided many as they struggled through the legal and emotional processes associated with grief. An award-winning writer and publisher, his short story "Kate" won the 2008 Wisconsin Regional Writers Association First Place Jade Ring Award.

Paula vW. Dail, PhD is an award-winning playwright and novelist. Her script "Choices..." was written for a Hospice project that earned a 2004 national Telly Award. Two of her plays and two novels deal with the grieving process. Her novel Uneasy States of Grace is currently under consideration to become a movie.
